We have reached that part of the year where we all feel a little in limbo; TV schedules have altered, and nobody knows when bin day is. Christmas celebrations are over for another year, but the new year is not quite upon us.
It’s a time that offers up the chance to rest and recuperate from the festive celebrations and to contemplate the new chapter about to begin.
We have had a fabulous Christmas, a real mix of delicious food, fun activities, and great company, it has been very special indeed. Our Christmas dinner was cooked to perfection, our gifts were thoughtful and well wrapped and the team have bent over backwards to ensure that we had everything we needed and more.
Christmas Day is always over so quickly, it often makes you wonder if all the planning and preparation is worth it, but it is because the joy is in the planning, the list writing, the crafting, the decorating, and the wrapping. Afternoons spent around the table, baking, icing cakes and drinking hot chocolate, the carol singers, the pantomimes, and the church services.
Christmas is a special time of year, we look back with fondness, we look around with joy and we look forward with optimism to a new year filled with joy and we wish the same for you.
